Massage & Cranio

Hello, I’m Moya…. a Biodyanmic Craniosacral Therapist and Massage Therapist based In Totnes and South East Cornwall on the Rame Peninsula.

I’ve always been drawn to working with people. My career began in care work and later in social work — roles that taught me so much about compassion, resilience, and the complexity of human experience. Alongside this, I’ve long held a deep interest in complementary health and wellbeing practices, sensing that healing can take many forms beyond the purely clinical.

While working as a social worker, I trained in holistic massage and offered treatments alongside my role. Eventually, the demands of the job began to take their toll — physically, mentally, and emotionally. It was during this time that I discovered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST). This gentle yet profound therapy supported me in a way nothing else had. It quite literally helped me find myself again.

That experience was life-changing. As I continued with sessions, I began to recognise how much unresolved trauma my body had been holding. With the steady support of my therapist, I slowly began to feel whole again — not just functioning, but living with more presence, softness, and self-understanding.

As Peter Levine writes, “Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence.”

Inspired by this healing journey, I followed the call to train in Biodynamoc Craniosacral  Therapy myself. Today, I BCST and holistic massage, working with people of all ages to support nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and embodied wellbeing.
